Looks like the O's have decided to look elsewhere for pitching and not go after Burnett. Reports are indicating the O's have traded Ponson to the Padres for Phil Nevin who I would suspect they use to get another pitcher. Possibly Jeff Weaver from the Dodgers.
The Padres also picked up Joe Randa from the Reds today.
