What percentage of drivers that use Deerfoot are on the road at rush hour? Say 50%? Perhaps conservative?
If those sections of Deerfoot have 100,000 cars per day, and half of those are on at rushhour, and therefore would benefit from the 20 minute decrease in travel time, then you are looking at
1 million minutes fewer per business day that a car is on the road. I wonder how much fuel that saves, and how much pollution it prevents?
