Good to see some of you folks getting into P90x. It's a great program, he's an annoying coach but it works. GERMAN POTATO SOUP!!!
Anyway, I got through 1.5 months and then went on vacation and I haven't gotten back into it yet because I've been busy but I plan on restarting but in that time I put on 5-7lbs with the help of 2 modest protein shakes a day and eating some hardy meals. My intention was to bulk keep in mind so I am very happy with the progress in a short time, definition was a bit better on arms and shoulders, I can imagine 3 months straight would do wonders for me. Look forward to getting back into it.
Protein shake at night is very good for you, don't buy into the other party, your body needs time to repair and to repair your muscles will catabolize but a recovery drink (before bed if that's the case) will help keep your body nourished and help you be ready for Day 2, 3, 4, 5, etc.
