I'm biased as I learned how to drive on an older audi. I remember it was a joy to drive and stuck to road like crazy (and i pushed it being a teenager with raging hormones). My dad didn't put much money into it over the years, but still spent more on it than his Saab overall. 340K on it when we finally retired it. Our friends say that if you get a newer one, make sure its German built and not Mexican--I don'tknow enough to tell you which is which though.
