In my opinion, in general Audi makes nicer cars than BMW. That opinion is largely based on looks though. I think Audi's look a lot better, and that the new 5, 7 and Z series are hideous (the 3 is very nice though, but I still like the A4 better). Audi interiors are also better looking and more functional imo.

I haven't heard much about their relative reliability... the two BMWs I've had have given me very conflicting feelings on the maker.

If your going to put down a decent amount on that Audi, check out the new Camaro. I saw one today in the dealer and everything about it looks great. It has the nicest interior I've ever seen in a Chevy.
