I think its funny all the people saying "oh it shouldn't based on her outfit, its just on her skillz." how a person dresses tells me a lot about that person including their upbringing, self awareness, possibly their current social status and in this case it could be a warning that I'm not hiring a person used to working hard for success but rather prefers its handed to her by a throng of clamoring men. Whom I hire and how they look would depend on the job. If they are going to be on the phone or greeting many high powered male executives, then *ding*hot short skirt wins. if I need someone that will need to work very hard and know her stuff then I want the educated girl that knew enough to come dressed respectful of the position she was interviewing for.
To say clothing has nothing to do with the interview is silly. Of course it does and if it doesn't you probably should hire some to do interviews for you as you are terrible at them.
