Well the Hawks have traded yet another goaltender. After his failures in the third round, Rick Dipietro has been shipping out with the St Louis 2nd rounder (56th overall). In return, the Hawks receive Ilya Bryzgolov along with MTL's 1st in 2010 and STL's 4th in 2010.
We weren't sure of our backup situation for next year so having Ilya around will help us stabilize the starting position and not worry about DU problems. We give a very talented young goalie but pick up a first next year.
