Default Hawks make first deal of off-season

It was posted in another thread but for the first deal it deserves it's own thread!

The Hawks have traded russian defect Alexander Radulov to the Philly Fly-Boys. In return the Hawks pick up Martin Karsums, Tomas Kundratek and a 2010 3rd round pick (NYR).

Karsums is a small body with the potential to be a top 6 forward. He's a guy we liked when he got traded to Tampa Bay and we're hoping he can find his way onto a line with Lecavalier in the N and maybe in the future in the CPHL. Kundratek was a third rounder who impressed me at the World Juniors and impressed the Rangers brass with his play with the Medicine Hat Tigers. He's already signed with the team and should be in Hartford next year.

Obviously, trading Radulov is a risk when the Preds are pushing hard to get him back for next season. But we felt that this deal was too hard to pass up...
