Default Domain purchasing Questions

Hello.

I should know this being in the tech biz and all but here goes.

My dad and uncle are both retired and looking to setup a consulting biz together. They want a unique domain name for email addresses and a possible future website.

I have purchased a few domain names, mostly for hopeful future sale but I have never setup a website or associated anythign more than email forwarder etc.

What I am wondering is this, does a site like Go Daddy host/administer email as well with a pop/smtp server.

Example, if I purchase 123consulting.com, can I pay them to host/admin the email services with that. Like Bob@123consulting.com etc.

I can easily setup a mailserver myself, but they arent looking for huge upfront costs and I figured if a site like godaddy or whatever would do this, than this would save them upfront costs as well as the hassle that me setting up an email server for them would accomany (considering they would expect it to be done for free most likely).

Thanks.
