I ask because down here, we have to vote on bond issues before it shows up on our property tax bill. And I'm lucky enough to live in California and benefit from prop 13 so my property tax rate can't be increased beyond 1.5% of assessed value.
Up here in Canada, we bitch if we don't get it, and then we bitch when we have to pay for it.
But the answer to your question is no. Voters approve nothing. Except every three years when there's an election.
