What about people who are audiophiles, have a system that could kick the crap out of 90% of what is out there, and choose to listen to mostly orchestra music and jazz? When Mahler Symphony #2 - Movement 5 hits with the huge contra-bass/cello run into an explosion of sound, are you seriously going to assume I'm some kind of gino? Cause a low-tone from an orchestra and a low tone from a synthesizer sound pretty much identical 'from the outside of the car'. Moreover, should they be beat down too for choosing to throw in some rock, funk, electronica, or metal?

Music is music, and some people enjoy it in super-high fidelity. As in, how the sounds come out of the speaker is as fundamentally important to the listening experience as the sound itself.

I love when people who have never listened to any kind of good recordings on any kind of good system argue about the merits of audiophilia.

Also, a lot of people in this thread have made comments like "how can you hear any of the other sounds over the bass?"

Please don't be so thick as to think that it sounds the same on the inside of the car as it does on the outside.
