Spoken like someone who doesn't fully understand the issues generally surrounding suicide. As someone who has a family member that suffered from a severe anxiety disorder, and several other family members that have suffered from a range of mental illnesses, it's just not that simple. Quite often people with suicide on their minds feel trapped. They often truly believe that they have no real friends and family and that the people that "might" care about them would be better off without them.
Suicide isn't just some trivial selfish act. It's usually the tragic result of a long battle with a debilitating disease.
