Each Ump has their own strike zone, granted. What I don't understand is hitters and pithers alike don't adjust. The homeplate ump last night was calling everything up to 3 inches off the plate horizontally a strike. I guess that's his strike-zone, but keep it consistent is all I'm saying. I saw some pretty favourable calls for both teams' starting pitchers, but Cecil just came unglued, so it looks worse from our point of view.
