My biggest complaint with the Storm is that they try and present too many buttons and controls on the screen at once. On the iPhone, for example, going into the settings screen shows you 7 or 8 options to hit, each a nice big target for your finger. The Storm shows 15 or more, making each selection much smaller and harder to hit. Combine that with a general chunkiness in scrolling compared to the iPhone.
My impression as well is that the Storm really wants you to keep your finger on the screen when moving around, like a finger on a touchpad on a laptop, whereas the iPhone encourages you to point with your finger directly to the item you want to click in one motion. If you have iPhone/iPod Touch experience prior to using a Storm, its extremely difficult mentally to get the hang of the slide-and-click motion that the Storm seems most suited for.
