Well, I had another day to think about it and maybe I might have over hyped this movie. I've read some reviews and maybe those reviews helped me take my Terminator glasses off and realize some of the flaws of the movie. There really wasn't enough human element to the characters and the movie and there really wasn't a villain(with a face) that you loved to hate. The first two had it, the third kind of did, this one definitely didn't. Helena Bonham Carter doesn't count as she's barely in the movie.
I still like it a lot, I'm definitely gonna see it again, but maybe not 8/10 good. I'm not sure there are as many plot holes as jammies says there are, but when you're dealing with 2 different timelines, it's going to be hard to wrap up everything in a nice bow. But at the same time, when you're watching a movie about time travel and evil robots, it's easy to let some technicalities go. I'm not gonna stress about the little things, it's really not that big of a deal, and unless it's really glaring and not just something that Terminator geeks would pick up on, I ain't gonna dis-credit this movie. I don't believe any of the plot holes are really that glaring to the point where the movie is crap because of it.
Overall, solid non stop action, best effects of the series, but I would have liked to have seen more John Connor, he was almost a supporting character for the first 2/3rds of the movie.
So, I'll take off my "I love Terminator" glasses and give it a solid 7/10.
