I just saw the midnight showing here in LV and I thought it was rather weak - the action scenes were solid, and the acting was ok, but the story was boring as hell and there were only about a billion plot holes. I could've written a better story after a 48 hour bender using only crayons on my own body parts.

I'd rank it above T3 but well below T2 or T1, both of which I love. MINOR SPOILER AHEAD - the difference between "McG" (what a tool of a name) and Cameron is that Cameron has the Terminator crushing roses with his foot in ONE memorable close-up, while "McG" crushes everything in sight in countless close-ups. Once is homage, a dozen times shows you have no ideas of your own and are an idiot.
