I think people need to be referenced to the 5 cops that just got fired in the States for beating on a suspect after a crazy car chase that ended in a crash. That was a far worse situation than this one, and the cops still got fired for beating on the suspect after he was on the ground (and being knocked the F out, too).
The initial resistance means nothing if the guy has given up and isn't fighting the cuffs.
Some of you may feel it's okay to beat on people after they've surrendered, but, I guess that's why you're not cops (thankfully). Or maybe that makes you better suited for it? Who knows. We all know police beatings after a suspect surrenders is always good for curbing criminality in society.
