Exercise is great for anxiety. The endorphins will give you a repreve from the anxiety.

You also need to slow down your breathing. Focus on breathing slower by taking deep breaths and letting it out slowly.

Play some music or do something that helps to relax you and distract you from what you are thinking.

Create a peaceful image in your mind. Close your eyes and focus on that place or setting.

You can control this without medications.
