That's close to the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
This is typical conspiracy theory logic again.. take something with some truth to it (nutrition is good), throw in some anecdotal evidence (hey my skin got better when my diet changed), sprinkle with a large group to blame everything on (big pharma!), stir in confirmation bias, false dilemma, and nirvana fallacy, and a few shots of the spice weasel and BAM!
