Yeah, I get that there are differences, but I'm curious how far (and how far back) they go; if, for example, Peter was genetically the same in both of them, that means that at the time of his conception, the two worlds must have been almost exactly identical, and yet by the time he was seven, there was a significant-enough divergence that he had different hobbies and interests, and died in one world but lived in the other. It seems to me that the two realities (there might be more, but the narrative seems to focus on two) must have split within the lives of the characters in the story (and perhaps caused by the characters in the story). Will their equivelents in the alternate reality have different jobs, family, and children? I would expect so, but the writers might have different ideas and have two realities that continue to mirror each other closely rather than diverge.
