It's odd how much I have come to rely on the internet for consumer and business transactions. It's common practice for me to look up a company or a store or a person to do some background checking or price comparison, etc.

If that business doesn't have an online presence I will rarely patronize them.

If they have a cheesey or half-hearted presence they lose a lot of points in my mind.

Surely I can't be the only one out there who thinks like this. That being said, I think you should really consider doing something professional with your web presence. It doesn't have to be over the top but just something that doesn't scream "MS Frontpage tutorial".
