I saw it last night (Sunday), the 10:50pm showing. I figured it would be a lighter crowd, but it was absolutely packed. I had a fun discussion with the guy next to me about which term Trek fans prefer, trekkie or trekker.
I liked it, I wasn't totally in love with it like everyone seems to be, but I definitely enjoyed it. I thought Chris Pine as Kirk was fantastic, and he's not a bad looking young man to boot.
Question - (I'll put it in white just in case it might be spoiler-esque) Did Ohura and Spock have a relationship in the original series? That kind of caught me off guard, but I am unfamiliar with the original stuff. /end spoiler question.
