Just to clarify, did you put a "Memory Express" Power supply into a Dell? If so, you are lucky you didn't let all the smoke out of your system.
I haven't tried it in a while (because I don't like the smell of computers smoking) but Dell's P/S's are extremely propritary. (sp?) It's pretty much the only part that cannot be swapped out for another brand.
