I guess I should've known, and I certainly do now - it's all about slanting the facts, not reporting the facts or analyzing the facts. Slant sells.

Anno Domini is "in the year of our Lord", isn't it? That's why academics and historians are leaning towards CE, or Common Era now, although as an atheist I say, "Who cares?"
Yep. The same thing happened to me. I wrote a letter back when the Flames sucked and they were talking about relocation, and a bunch of people had written in saying stuff like "screw 'em, let them go if they're going to hold us hostage". It pissed me off so I wrote a letter that wasn't nearly as long winded as I am on here, about 4 or 5 sentences, and they gutted it to the point where it sounded like I basically insulted all Flames fans, then they put my f'ing name after it.

And the CE, BCE thing is what started the debate in the letter I was talking about earlier. And I agree, as a fellow athiest, who cares? Really. Who gives a crap? AD, CE, whatever. AFAIC, it's just 2009.
