Apology accepted. My thing on the homeless is basically a rejection of the sweeping generalization that they're all mentally ill to the extent that they need 100% charitable support 100% of the time. You see people with downs syndrome working at mcdonalds (to use an on-topic example
), so I think it's safe to assume that a good number of homeless people with lesser problems should be able to work to some degree.
