The wheels I have on my rollerblades have already worn out to the point where I need to rotate them and I've put maybe 30km of outdoor use on them. That sucks.
I think I'll look at stiffer rubber and smooth bearings to "enhance my experience".

No, ABEC 1 is the lowest. It goes up by two from there. ABEC 3,5,7, etc. The higher the number the faster the bearing.
In reality though if you keep them clean and lubed you wont notice a difference based on the speeds you get up to on city pathways.
