perhaps one on one...maybe...but if you factor in support elements then green beret......When I was in Yugo and witnessed what was once one of the largest Eastern Bloc armies (JNA) i knew that if a war had happened then we would have kick a$$ and taken names.....I mean it was 1993 for god's sake an they still used T-34......that said I suspect this show will only focuse on individual soldier skills.....

It's really difficult to to judge who is better since the Spetnaz and Green Beret fulfill different roles. It could really boil down to individual soldiers
Spetnaz are the Russian elite soldiers and mainly deal with direct action
Green Berets have an additional task of being a force multiplier. The idea being that you drop in a 10 man squad to meet up with a rebel force, and soon, the Berets will have trained up an army of 500.
Because Beret are warrior teachers, there skills may be more honed in a one on one battle. However, Spetnaz are also the most insane in the Russian army. Be a good battle
