Whoa, hold on a second there.
You think it's morally indefensible to cause suffering to animals, yet you think it's okay to inflict this same suffering on other humans (quality of human, is of course a bit of a question mark), but that to me ruins your entire position.
So what is wrong with the suffering? Is it inherently wrong to inflict suffering on an animal, and if so why does this standard not apply to humans?
Or could it be that you only think it is wrong to inflict suffering on something you think is cute.
That's what I was getting at with my mosquito question earlier. Where do you draw the line on what is acceptable to kill/use/eat.
And how can you be against eating a hamburger, but not experimenting on humans.
