In short, off the top of my head, Rome, Venezia, Prague, Paris are all must-see's IMO. (I included Prague cause god its cheap there.) Being a real outdoors kind of person, Switzerland is my favourite and a must-see, but I can see why people might avoid it ($$$). Don't be afraid to shy away from smaller towns as well - personally, I found Southern France to be better then their star city Paris.

Watch out for the expensive countries (ie. Belgium) cause they'll really chew a hole in your pants (wallet and otherwise).

Spend a couple bucks on a travel book for Europe. It's worth it. I personally travelled with Rick Steve's book, and that book saved me 100 times what I spent. Good city profiles, hints, sites and its cretiques, recommended places to eat (usually places near sites, not lord-knows-on-the-other-side-of-town) where to stay ect

Most of all... advice from any traveller I'm sure, try and live like the locals when your there.

(I could write a billion pages on Europe, but its past my bed time :baby: )
