Once you say not guilty you are in dishonor and you are set up already to lose in the court. Pay it you are saying guilty and in dishonor. But conditionally accept it upon receiving a bill and you are with in honor and put the ball in their court.
I am pleading guilty. The reason I asked this is you don't have to show up to plead guilty, you can just pay the ticket but I've had like ten people tell me just to show up on the day and plead guilty and they will reduce the ticket.

Is it really worth my time to do this, or is this just an olds wives tale? That's what I'm trying to find out.
