Hey Guys,

I'm a geologist/enviromental scientist (eligable for P. Geo Status) who has been working as a GIS specialist with an exploration company in Newfoundland for the past 8 years. Due to the down swing in the markets I may have to look at relocation in upcoming months and just wanted to get a feel for where I should be looking, what the climate was like for someone with my qualifications in the city now, what the pay scale looks like/what income would be needed to live in the city, etc. I know that there are a lot of professionals that post on here and was hoping that I could get some idea of how to proceed with a potential shift out west. I appreciate any information that you guys could provide.
