My catching hand will never be the same. I tossed the ball back and forth with a guy from Aeneas' team to warm up and the guy can throw. I caught 3 of the first 5 right on the ball of my index finger. It has swollen up like there a f'n walnut implanted in my hand.
Played the game out and made most of my catches, but god damn that was painful. Now that I'm inside and my hand is thawing out, my finger barely moves. I'm prescribing myself beer. There's a case in the fridge... How many will I drink tonight? I'm aiming for six. Success is very probable.
