That being said, the guy sounds like quite the playmaker. I think defenses will have a tough time matching up with the speed of the Eagles offense. I'm absolutely ecstatic about the McCoy and Ingram picks.

Is it possible there was more to the Boldin trade than the media has speculated? If that was the asking price then it's not only the Eagles who are foolish for not trading for him, but 30 other teams.
Draft time in any major sport is pure media speculation much of the time with blockbuster names being thrown around. There were NO major trades made this year, so it's not just the Eagles who failed to make a splash.
We can't say the Eagles didn't need a WR....it's a pressing need every year it seems. Maclin is a playmaker. At the end of this draft I can honestly say Philly has dramatically improved, which is all you can ask for.
