Geneva sucks. Worst big city to visit in all of Switzerland.
If that is the route your train is coming in on, I'd blow through Geneva and hit Lausanne or Montreux instead for sure. Montreux has the Chateau de Chillon which is a really cool site.
You can also take a day trip to Geneva on the train, but trust me you won't spend long there.
