Isnt it possible that doctors are so against the idea that they dont even consider it? And that they are willing to "live" with the 1/million chance of something bad happens.

Believe it or not, there are many things that are harmful to some section of the population. For instance, I'm horribly allergic to shrimp. Does that mean that there should be a ban of all shrimp products? What's your cutoff of things that you think are "silly" risks, and those that you consider to be Serious Business?
