For whatever reason Rios just doesn't seem to like hitting 3rd. Must be a mental thing or something with him. I dont know if you could try moving him back to the leadoff spot and than dropping Scutaro and Hill into the 2-3 spots. For whatever reason Rios just doesn't do much in the 3 spot, but if they put him leadoff he can hit.

It's funny but I know I used to hit far better if I was hitting leadoff than anywhere else in the lineup when I played in a mens league. We had another guy on our team who should have hit 3rd, but he insisted he hit 5th or else he sucked. Our best hitter wanted to hit 6th. You wouldn't think it should matter where you hit but the mind tends to do things to you that don't make sense. Looks like it even affects real professional guys too.
