I totally agree. I think its a great idea, but Memorial isn't the right location. I've always thought that you could totally do something like this down on 17th though. Like on weekends you could close off a stretch of a few blocks, and have them only open to pedestrians. You could even have an open air market type thing and vendors.... I just think it would be neat to get people out of their cars and walking more.
Who knows if something like this could ever happen, but a girl can dream!
