GM Grant Farhall has reunited the Sedin twins in Minnesota, making good on an off-season objective.
The deal sees the team trade Chris Phillips and Kirk Maltby heading to the Avs in exchange for Henrik Sedin and blueliner Aki Berg.
Farhall had this to say about the deal:
"Acquiring Semenov yesterday allowed us to move Phillips in this deal, though not without some hesitation. We think Aki gives us many of the same qualities and will be effective in our 5-6 pairing with Wallin. But the key is getting a young forward with tremendous upside like Henrik and allowing him and Daniel to rediscover their chemsitry."
