Sorry for the delay fellas had a very eventful day, anyway.

With the 17th overall pick in the 2009 NFL entry draft The New York Jets are proud to select from Ohio State University.

RB Chris "Beanie" Wells.



By far the most talented RB in this draft. His combination of size, power and speed have drawn comparisons to Adrian Peterson and Bo Jackson. His only question is durability and that's the ONLY reason that he may fall to 17. Putting him behind the Jets offensive line would turn a good running attack into a great one, maybe the best in the NFL. He will play perfectly into what Rex Ryan wants on offense, a smashmouth running game to take pressure off of the young QB, whoever that may be. The fact that TJ is whining over a new contract which he's not going to get increases the appeal of a RB. If he's on the board, I don't see how the Jets can pass on him.
