Listening to the new Hip album now - it sounds like a mellow Springsteen record.
Cokemachineglow calls it the "worst" Hip record, blaming Bob Rock for the most part:

We Are the Same is the weakest album the Tragically Hip have ever released. Really, nothing else in their back catalog comes close.

Queen Of The Furrows is the only song that pricked up my ears so far. Speed River too.
