Re-seeded the data cable, but not the power cable yet. (the cables are routed in a way that i have take my case apart to do the power cable, drawbacks of a clean looking interior i guess).

out of all the builds i tried (7000, 7022, 7048, 7057, 7068, 7077) 7077 is hands down the fastest and most stable version of them all. There were some minor bugs in 7068 I found which are fixed in 7077. Some people had the same problem you were having and its claimed to be fixed.
