"Okay, people get a grip, the Toronto Board of Trade are really saying Calgary is the most pro-business city. I think any city or town would win that contest. I do agree that i would not classify Calgary in this survey if they are talking about the world's largest cities since Calgary has slightly over 1 million people and that is peanuts when you look at some of the cities in China or India. With the oil prices the way they are, i am sure they will not be number 1 for very long and i heard lot of people are leaving Calgary, so will lose a lot of people. I honestly thought Edmonton would be number 1 since it has everything that Calgary has going for it and more. Snow removal in residential streets and garbage recycling in Edmonton but not Calgary. But i guess that is not important to the pro-business Toronto Board of Trade. In the very end, this is subjective and you can use different numbers to prove your point. I am happy a Canadian city was number 1 but i thought it would be Edmonton."

This is from one of the comments at the bottom of the article. Edmonton? Really?
