Google itself can come to the (partial) rescue here
(There are other tools that do the same thing, but this is one of the easiest to use)
Go to:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Type in the key words. For e.g. 'car' 'financing' 'calgary' 'bad credit' or give a URL to an existing page
The tool will return a long list of search patterns, ranked by highest search volume, which you can then either type back into that key words list (hopefully generating even more results) or use them as-is.
The nice thing about the keyword tool is that it will give you a list of things you may never have thought of, is based on actual search data, and is free!
