Not sure if there's a MLB 2009 season thread already posted but I thought I'd start one considering all I see here is a Blue Jays thread.

I know the season officially started last night but the real action begins today with a slate of games beginning with the early game Mets @ Reds.

As a Mets fan i'm excited for the new season considering the last 2 collapses and with all the new additions we got in the bullpen. The Mets bullpen last year was atrocious and bringing in the best Closer in the game in K-Rod and J.J. Putz to set up, there should be no excuses anymore. If the Bats can step up and Mike Pelfrey can pitch the same way he did last year and of course, we stay relatively healthy, there's no reason we take the N.L. East and knock off those damn Phillies.

Anyways, feel free to post on the upcoming Season and how you think your team will do or is already doing...
