Default my ufo sighting - april 2, 2009

almost daily, i take my labrador to tom campbell's hill off leash dog park. for those who have not been to this park, it is the grassy hill just above the zoo lrt station. we go so often that it often becomes a boring walk, for me at least, the dog is always chasing the ball or socializing, she loves it there.

yesterday, however, was very different. i'm always scanning the horizons of the city, the 270 degree views are amazing. while i'm looking down towards the intersection of deerfoot and memorial, i see 2 white objects circling very high in the sky. at first i thought they were birds, because the park is so close to the river, birds are frequently circling above the river and zoo. the more i observed these objects, the more i realized they are not birds and they were circling in a very organized circle, keeping distance between them the same. there were no wings or lights or deviance in their pattern. after about 10 seconds of observing them, they both, in orderly fashion, headed due north at a high speed. from where they were circling to when they disappeared into the clouds on the horizon was about 5 seconds. i can not even begin to guess their altitude or speed because i had no reference of scale other than the ground.

my father was an air traffic controller and was always pointing out aircraft to me when i was young. i may not know the names of all the planes, but i know one when i see one, and these objects were not planes or birds. i don't know what they were. but i am not dismissing any possibility of their being or origin, earthly or not.

so there it is, my first ufo sighting. i hope any of you that have had an experience will share it or share your thoughts regarding the subject.
