I can't speak for the Canadian legal market, but US law firms could care less what your undergrad grades were. The school you attend is a pretty good indicator of where you sit, and beyond that they're only looking at your first year law school grades. That said, if your undergrad grades and LSAT score don't get you into a top law school you better be at the top of your class or you can say goodbye to the top firms and top dollars.
