I was wrong about this dragging on for weeks, the Broncos really pulled the trigger quickly. I think they were very anxious to move on as soon as possible and I also heard that they were adament that Cutler be traded to an NFC team.

Good trade for Denver, I think. They get a stop-gap QB that can manage a game, and can now begin the process of looking for a new franchise QB. They now have picks #12, #18, #48, #79, and #84 in the first three rounds. With Raji admitting to smoking pot, he just might fall to #12 and you can get your Nose Tackle. Draft a DE at #18, a Centre at #48, and use the third round picks for a LB and a DB and you've got a brand new defense, a two ready-now QBs, and at least a shot at the playoffs.
