The Broncos are the ones who screwed this up, a QB who doesn't have the backing of his team is going to fail. It's a no win situation. Denver knew that it would get out when they shopped him, and if they expected him to just shrug it off they're morons. Every single starting QB in the league would react the same way to such a blatant lack of support from their team.
BTW, how is shopping a guy after a pro bowl season putting "a ton of faith and opportunity at his feet"?

Seriously? Shanahan put his behind on the line playing Cutler as a rookie, and the owner paid him quite well. The guy has acted like a spoiled brat, evidenced by guys that are close to the Denver organization calling Cutler a "baby" and "immature".
