Thinking about my own life, I grew up pretty fast and at 18 was more mature than most of my peers. I don't think I was an "adult" until 20-21 though.
I really think age is relative. I have a younger brother who's a bit of a "player" so I've met tons of 16-19 year old girls, most of them pretty attractive. Some of them were mature enough that you wouldn't question them if you met them in a bar and some of them should still be in grade school.
I don't know what my point is really. Quick, someone post a jailbait picture.
EDIT: Just want to make clear, that I have never actually attempted to taint the innocence of any of the girls, mature or not.

Most of my students are 18 or 19. My assessment of them, for the most part, is that there's a huge range. Some are very mature, adults for all intents and purposes. Others... still children.
