Saying a person is doing the wrong thing when taking X seriously is exactly the same as saying a person is doing the wrong thing when taking X lightly.
So what I'm saying is I think rather little of people who throw a hissyfit when someone says they're out of line, dictating what's the right way to talk about it and deliberately try to piss the person off. Or in other words, you guys were just being jerks and much worse at pushing your morals than "the other guy". It was just a different set of morals you were pushing on him (and as a consequence, anyone reading this thread).
I'm sure this forum is much better now that you "won" your case of "you can say anything on this forum and if someone disapproves let's all gang up on the guy".
